Vrunda Shah is an associate at Aleshire & Wynder in the Oakland office, and currently serves as the Deputy City Attorney of Cupertino and Yuba City. She regularly advises city and district staff on a wide range of municipal law matters, including the Brown Act, conflicts of interest, the Public Records Act, Elections Code, Political Reform Act, CEQA, NEPA, ordinance and resolution drafting, contract negotiation and enforcement, and land use and planning. She is committed to responsive client service and community engagement.
Ms. Shah also has experience representing public agencies in litigation, including matters involving contract enforcement, personal injury, and municipal code enforcement.
During law school, Vrunda was a member of the Environmental Law Society, King Hall Negotiations Team, and King Hall Futbol Club.
