Denise Wong is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Westlake Village office, where her practice focuses on labor and employment law and advising public agency clients on a variety of workplace and governance matters.
Prior to joining Aleshire & Wynder, Denise represented public entities and private clients in labor and employment matters, public agency disputes, and a broad range of civil litigation. Her experience also includes advising local school districts on education law issues, providing counsel on personnel, compliance, and operational matters.
Denise earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law (King Hall). She also received both a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
While in law school, Denise served as a Certified Law Clerk with the UC Davis Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic, where she was recognized with the 2022 Outstanding Clinical Student Award for her advocacy and service. She was also actively involved in the law school community, serving as a Research Editor and Submissions Co-Chair for the Journal of International Law and Policy, Professional Development Co-Chair for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, Culture Week Chair for the King Hall Moot Court Honors Board, and Co-Chair of the Humanitarian Aid Legal Organization. In addition, she was a member of the Trial Practice Honors Board.
