Erika represents cities and other public entities in litigation, employment and transactional matters. 

Erika joined Aleshire & Wynder in March 2020, and has since obtained favorable judgments and positive outcomes on behalf of her clients. She currently advises and represents public entities in a variety of matters including, breach of contract, housing, tort claims, employment, code enforcement, and water law.

Prior to joining the firm,  Erika practiced as a civil litigator defending catastrophic injury, wrongful death, breach of contract, and products liability claims. Erika also worked as a staff attorney for a Bankruptcy Trustee where she focused on all aspects of legal administration of chapter 13 bankruptcy estates, including representing the Trustee a court hearings, conducting Meetings of Creditors, and assisting the U.S. Department of Justice to identify fraudulent filings and criminal Bankruptcy Code violations.

Erika enjoys public law and helping her clients to successfully resolve disputes and achieve their goals. Erika currently serves on Aleshire & Wynder’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and when not working, enjoys traveling, hiking, trying new food, and all things Disney.
