February 10, 2011 -- Partner Sunny Soltani of Aleshire & Wynder will serve on the faculty of a Lorman seminar, "Litigation Skills for Legal Professionals in California." Ms. Soltani, along with two other speakers, will discuss critical functions related to maintenance and organization of civil litigation cases, especially relating to discovery issues and successful trials.
Those attending will learn about a case from intake to trial, including the basics of document organization; how to use computer technology to your advantage; how to make use of informal and formal discovery techniques; the basic rules of privilege and document disclosure; and how to generate discovery requests, notices, subpoenas or transcripts.
Paralegals and legal assistants are encouraged to attend this seminar on Thursday, April 28, 2011 in Santa Ana. Continuing education credit is available.
