Nathaniel Acosta is an Associate in Aleshire & Wynder’s Los Angeles office, where his practice effectively balances municipal advisory services with complex litigation. Nathaniel has played a vital role in a variety of municipal issues, including mass tort defense, drafting counter-proposals for labor and employment negotiations, and counseling city managers and elected officials on day-to-day interpretations of law. Nathaniel has also maintained a focus in environmental and water matters: revising contracts between water districts and cities, compounding and reviewing discovery for CEQA litigation, as well as keeping his clients informed with new legislation affecting municipal rights.
Nathaniel’s commitment to public advocacy is a cornerstone of his professional background. Since law school, Nathaniel has remained deeply involved in Loyola Law’s Immigrant Justice Clinic, where he represented asylum applicants, U-Visa and T-Visa victims, and unaccompanied minors in probate court. His dedication to community involvement also led to his selection for the Steering Committee for the City of Brea, where he represented his age group and background in municipal planning and development. When not working, Nathaniel likes to spend his time illustrating, playing guitar, baking, hiking, and slumping on the couch with his two cats, Frida and Gnocchi.
