John E. Bauman, III, is a seasoned litigation partner with over 20 years of experience representing public and private entities in high-stakes legal disputes. He concentrates in construction law, sophisticated contract negotiation, and proactive risk management to guide clients through the lifecycle of construction projects and litigation.
 
Earlier in his career, Mr. Bauman represented insurance carriers, providing coverage opinions and litigating coverage disputes in several western states. In addition, Mr. Bauman was a litigator in Chicago for over a decade, handling class action defense, insurance coverage disputes, and complex personal injury and property damage defense. Notably, he secured a $0 settlement and dismissal for a trucking client in a fatal accident case with demands exceeding $10 million.
 
Mr. Bauman grew up in the construction industry, spending several years working on construction projects at paper mills, steel mills, and automobile factories.
