Colin Ryan is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Aleshire & Wynder, where he serves cities and public agencies on a wide range of matters, including CEQA and land use, constitutional law, municipal code enforcement, Propositions 218 and 26, and general litigation.
Prior to Aleshire & Wynder, Colin gained substantial public-sector experience through clerkships in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. He built a career in education, writing, brand strategy, and marketing before joining the legal profession.
Colin earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif. At Loyola, he served as Senior Developments Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, competed on the ABA National Moot Court Team, assisted low-income tenants through the Shriver Landlord-Tenant Clinic, and founded Older Wiser Law Students (OWLS), an organization supporting career-changing students.
Colin holds a B.A. in English and Hispanic Studies, summa cum laude, from Boston College, and an M.A.T. in English Education from Boston University.
