Adam D. Nir is an Associate Attorney with Aleshire & Wynder based in Sacramento. Adam represents public entities in both state and federal matters, focusing primarily on environmental law, land use and planning, water law, and public contracts.
Adam has experience advising public agencies across the United States regarding the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) and the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Prior to joining the firm, Adam also worked to defend both public agencies and private developers against California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) challenges for a variety of projects, ranging from housing developments to general plan updates. Adam currently serves as a Board Editor for the California Water Law & Policy Reporter.
Adam graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2024, with a certificate of concentration in Capital Lawyering. As a law student, he served as the Chief Legislation Editor of the University of the Pacific Law Review, using his experience as an intern at the Office of Legislative Counsel to mentor staff writers on the dynamics of the legislative process. Adam also participated in several national competitions as a member of McGeorge’s negotiation team and worked as a lobbyist for the school’s Legislative and Public Policy Clinic.
